As I am writing Elijah is laying on my chest finally resting comfortably. He just had his two month vaccines. Mattie is in her bed trying to put herself to sleep. In the past I could rock her a little to sooth her if she was hyper, rarely would she fall asleep but it would help settle her down. Now she screams and kicks and would rather be in her bed. Anyway, I was very nervous about giving Elijah all of these vaccines at one time being that he is a boy and with Matties history of a strange reaction at 6months old. Matties vaccines were separated from 6 months on and she has to take bendryl with them. Anyway, we decided with our pediatricians advice to give him all of them at one time. I did not want to make multiple trips to the office with both children during the winter months. Our WONDERFUL pediatrician assured me today to go ahead with them. We hope he does not run any high fevers this weekend. I also got some measurements of Elijah. Elijah is a big boy and we have measurements to prove it! He weights 13lbs 6oz which is the 90th percentile and his length is 24 3/4 which is the 97th percentile. The percents mean that his weight is more than 90% of the boys his age. Elijah spits in great volumes and becomes uncomfortable after he eats so we were given Zantac. He has had a stuffy nose since we brought him home from the hospital. This can be due to reflux as well.We hope this helps him!
Elijah is smiling and cooing. He is pretty laid back, but can get our attention if his bottle is running late! Don't mess with his meal time!! He is so handsome and we can't wait for Mattie and Elijah to begin playing with each other!
