Mattie is loving her new playroom! Daddy and Uncle Mark painted it green and mommy hung a few jungle animal pictures to finish the room off. Mommy and Mattie love this room! Poor Puga Ann, she does not get to visit very often, but the cats do!

Mattie is loving music class, reading books, and playing with Puga and Yogi when she can. She loves to pat, bounce, and clap. We love seeing her do new things each day! Sometimes we think she is saying "Hey","dog", and "duck". We like to think she is..... Matt and I think that once she is able to really talk she will probably never stop. She can sign milk, all done, and more. This makes Mommy happy because we have been working very hard on this. It really has not improved her table manners as she yells at the cook then signs. Anyway, Mattie is growing so fast and we are so proud of her new skills.

It is getting harder and harder to take pictures of Mattie. She will not sit still, smile on demand, or keep her eyes open. But look at those beautiful eye lashes!!!

Mattie had a wonderful Christmas! She enjoyed spending time with her family!! Mattie loved to help tear the paper off of the gifts she received. She hated for us to take the paper from her! Mattie and Mommy are enjoying the new play room. She is cruising and crawling everywhere.
We are sleep training Mattie right now. I have been reading a book called "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child".I recommend this book to anyone having issues with their child sleeping. My pediatrician recommended this book as well as another mom. She is taking two regular naps a day and going to bed earlier. The night awakenings and early awakening has gotten better too! However, we are still taking one day at a time. I wish I read this book months ago!I can't wait for one nap a day though, we like to go places!
Here are some pictures of Mattie. I have so many pictures to go through to make a slideshow. Yes, Mattie still favors her daddy!
