Mattie is growing so fast! She cut her third tooth today. Mattie loves to spend her day playing, reading books, crawling, pulling up, cruising, clapping, screaming and growling (for fun).

She went to big church Sunday to listen to the choir. She actually fell asleep while the sang! For those of you that know Mattie and her naps this is pretty amazing!

Mattie and Santa...... Some of you were right! Mattie was not very happy. We did go back to the mall on a different occasion and she waved at Santa.

This slide show is of Mattie and her family during her first Thanksgiving. There are also pictures of us hanging her first ornament. The other pretty girls in the slide show are Mattie's friends Christa and Gracie. Gracie and Christa are in Mattie's Kindermusik class.

Watch this slide show and you will see Mattie standing! She makes me so nervous pulling up everywhere! She is getting the hang of it though. Look at my new fire place. I had to barricade it with the ottoman and trash can. She is still persistent at trying to find a way to get to it.

Just an update on Mattie......

Mattie is crawling everywhere. Which means "spit-up is everywhere too! She has good reflux days, but she still has some pretty messy and bad ones too! No more army crawling. She is doing the "regular" crawl. She is pulling up on items now. She is not a pro at this yet so of course this makes me very nervous! She loves to hold our fingers and walk like a big girl. Wow! These past eight months has flown by! She is getting to be such a big girl, which makes me sad! Mattie is saying Ma, Ma and just yesterday she started saying Da, Da!
Last week we put Mattie in the big girl tub! She hated it! Then we decided to put her little tub in the big tub to ease the transition. We also had a few play sessions in the tub without water. Finally, last night she took a bath in the big girl tub. Just Mattie and her toys! I even put her on her tummy and she crawled around and fell twice, but she did not get upset. Let's put it this way, Mattie is not good with change, but give her some time and she does great!
We love our "Tink-Tink"! I will have more pictures up soon.

Mattie went to Haley and McKenzie's Birthday party! Haley turned 1 on October 31st and McKenzie turns 4 on November 13th. Mattie was "mommy clingy" but after a hour she warmed up and let her family hold her.

Mattie had a fun weekend! She had a great week as well! Check out her ears. Mattie got her ears pierced last week. Mattie finally started sleeping through the night, but the time change this weekend makes me nervous. Mattie went to visit her Nana, Auntie Amy, and cousins Haley and Mckenzie. Mattie stayed with them for the day while Mckenzie went with us to Pug Fest. Sunday Mattie went to a Chiaha Festival in Rome. She had a wonderful time. Enjoy the pictures!

I was looking at pictures of Mattie from 7 months ago. She has gotten so big so fast! Where has the time gone. :(

Matt and I took Mattie to our church Pumpkin Patch. She was not feeling 100% as you will be able to tell from the pictures. She had fun, but would have enjoyed the trip better if she was feeling better. Anyway, enjoy the show!

Mattie is feeling more liker herself. Here are some pictures of her before Kindermusik class. She loves music class! She smiled during the opening song when we sang her name.

Mattie has had a rough time with a cold. She developed a rash that is not helping her feel any better. We are trying some new medication today so we hope she will be feeling better soon. Here are some pictures from our trip to Hilton Head and Augusta.

Mattie went to look at the ocean while visiting Greatgrandma and Greatgrandpa Bufford in Hilton Head. She enjoyed herself until she got splashed by a wave.

Mattie had her 6month appointment today. She weighs 17lbs14oz, and she is in the 80th percentile for her weight. Mattie is in the 97th percentile for her length at 27 1/4. She is "creeping" now which we call army crawling. She is not too fast yet, but she is loving her new skill. She is very vocal all of the time. Mattie has a lot to say about everything. We can only understand Ma ma.. and ba ba... right now. She loves her music class on Wednesday, and we are going back to swim class this month. Mattie finally decided to kick and splash on the last week of class. Mattie had a great time visiting family this past week. We will post more pictures of that trip later.

Mattie is 6 months old! She has had a busy month. She hates peas and kinda likes sweet potatoes. We are working hard on getting Mattie to sleep through the night. Last night she made it until 5:30. I will definitely take that over the usual 3 night awakenings. Mattie is saying ma ma, ba ba, and maybe da da (hard to tell). She is rolling over both ways not and rocking on her elbows and knees. She is pulling herself around her crib by grabbing the crib sheet and tugging on it. I have seen her do this on the floor but it does not work well for her because her blanket moves.

Matt and Mattie got baptized this past weekend. She did great! She even tugged at Pastor David's beared and she also was trying hard to see the choir behind her.

We are heading out of town tomorrow to visit Pee Paw, Greatgrandma and Greatgrandpa Bufford. We will have many pictures to share when we get back. Poor Puga, she is going to the kennel.
