Mattie helped MaMa make Aunt Carolene cupcakes! She liked eating them too! We think Elijah is too big for the bassinet. We moved him into the pack-n-play in our room. We moved Mattie to her room at 7weeks. Elijah will be in ours until he sleeps longer periods at night so he won't wake Mattie up. She is a very light sleeper. She wakes up when daddy leaves for work at 5:40! She sleeps in until 6:30 when he is off. Our room is crazy now! We have a play yard for Mattie to be in when I shower and a pack-n-play for Elijah to sleep in. Plus our recliner to rock and feed Elijah in. Thank goodness our room is big!
Elijah was one month old on November 7th! Here are some pictures of the kiddies! Look at that smile. We don't think he intentionally smiled, but somehow daddy got it on camera!

What a week we have had!! Matt came home from work with a high Fever Monday. Of course he finished his shift first. He spent the night at his moms house. The same night Elijah started throwing up. It started as a questionable bad spit up! If you remember Mattie spit up all the time so I was not too sure if he was sick or spitting up. That morning he really threw up. So I took his temp. I got 100.4 which my pediatrician papers say to come to the office immediately. I took his clothes off and rechecked sometime later and he still had a fever. Daddy called in sick that day and rushed over from his moms. He went to urgent care that night and was negative for flu and strep. He watched Mattie while Elijah and I headed to the doctor in the pooring rain! He still had a fever at the office. The pediatrician felt that with his young age, 33days old, and premature delivery with a NICU stay ment we had to be admitted to the hospital to run tests. After two LONG days and nights in the hospital we are home. They are thinking he had a virus of some sort. He threw up a bottle today. However, I can see improvement as he wants to eat and is more alert. He is still pretty fussy after he eats but gas drops and holding him seems to do the trick. Mattie got a pretty nasty cold while I was away, her SECOND one since we brought Elijah home. Geeze! We are pretty tired and can't wait for life to be a little more normal around here! Please pray this happens soon! I will have more pictures soon! Elijah is 10lbs4oz now. He is huge!!

Elijah had a "girlfriend" come visit. Mattie's friend G has a new baby sister MF. Look how cute they are! We met G in Kindermusic class at 5 months old, and there birthdays are two days apart.

Elijah got me good while I was changing his diaper. I am getting better at avoiding such accidents.

Mattie and MaMa went trick or treating to a few houses. Nona and PaPa David stayed with "Little Man" and opened our door to the kiddies. Daddy had to work. Mattie finally got the hang of it at the second to last house. She was able to reach into this candy dish and grab a piece and place it in her "punkin". There were some "unsafe" candy dishes, but MaMa carried her own stash. I think next year she will have the hang of it for sure!! Elijah will be 1 and she will be 2 1/2. Can't wait to take them both out next year!!

Mattie was a UGA cheerleader and wore her red and black proudly. She can chant the cheer "GOOOOO DAWGS SIC'EM WOFF WOFF" My favorite word is "sickeem". She is so cute!!
