Toddler Bed....

Well, it has been 5 nights now. We are so proud and shocked by Mattie's sleeping habits in her big girl bed!! We added a pillow to her big girl bed and we think this is helping her fall asleep and stay in bed. (Not helping her dust allergies, but we are ordering her a special pillow soon!) We have a TV monitor and got a few laughs out of Mattie..... She slid to the opening of her bed and touched her feet on the ground and then jumped back into bed a couple of times. Another time her favorite lovey "duck" fell out of the bed. She fell out head first trying to grab it then she stood up and got back into bed. I really imagined her running around the room wild and us breaking our backs putting her back into bed at least 60 times. Luckily, this has not been the case. KNOCK ON WOOD....You never know what surprises are in store for us. However, at the moment we are very proud of our Baby Girl becoming our Big Girl!

She takes about an hour to fall asleep at night, but instead of running around in the crib she is now lying on her pillow playing with her blanket and duck. She was trying to climb out of her crib and saying "up please" over and over. Now she seems excited to get into the bed. I HOPE THIS LASTS! Naps have been rough since we got rid of her passy! This week we have had a few longer naps so I am very thankful for that!! She gets very grumpy when she only naps for an hour or no nap at all!

Now all we have to do is keep her healthy so she can sleep! Mattie catches colds VERY EASILY due to her dust allergies. She has had three summer colds and two have been back to back. I think she is finally learning how to sleep thru her coughing fits at night. She used to wake up crying, but sometimes she coughs over and over and keeps sleeping.

Also, Please start praying for Elijah and Momma! During the third trimester with Mattie I got Choleostasis of Pregnancy. So far Elijah and I are doing well and do not have choleostasis!! We hope to stay Choleostasis free as long as possible!

Thanks!
