Look at these cute pictures. One is of Aunt Carolene and Uncle Brandon. They are a cute couple! I am posting these pictures, because today I took the picture of Mattie with the pink bow. She is so cute and happy! She had her 2 month appointment Friday and weighs 11lbs10 oz. She is in the 75th percentile for her weight and her length is 24 1/2 inches. She is in the 97th percentile for her length. Hmmm... Maybe she will be tall! That would be nice! She could be our basketball star.

Puga Ann is our one year old pug. Puga loves to cuddle and requires a lot of attention. She loves to play soccer with Matt and gets very excited about her "din din" (dinner). She is a very hyper dog, but she has surprised Matt and I as she has been very gentle with Mattie. Thank goodness! Puga is very smart and stuburn as well. However, she will do just about anything for a "treat"! Puga is ready to cuddle and share kisses with Mattie. We can't wait until Mattie is old enough to play with her Puga. The three cats, Yogi, Thomas, and Bruster, have also done very well with Mattie. No hissing or signs of aggression. Thomas and Yogi have smelled Mattie's hair, and they continue to try to steal her blankets and bassanette.

Mattie was six days old during her first Easter. We were unable to make it to church, but a few family members came to visit and look at her cute Easter dress. Turquoise is definitely her color!

Look at how Mattie has changed in just two months! She is becoming more alert and starting to smile! Her hair used to stand straight up everywhere and now the front is flatter while the back is still spiky. We love our "chunky monkey"!

These are some pictures of Mattie's very proud grandparents! Nona (Matt's mom) and Nana (my mom) are in one picture at the hospital. PaPa David (Matt's dad) is posing with Mattie when she first arrived home. PeePaw(my dad) is holding Mattie at the hospital. PeePaw made the long drive from Augusta to meet Mattie.

Aunt Amy sent some cute pictures of Mckenzie and Haley. Haley is already copying her big sister Mckenzie. There is also a picture of Aunt Carolene, Aunt Amy, and pregnant mommy at a baby shower. Mattie really enjoyed the red velvet cake at that baby shower! ummmy

Mattie's cousins, Mckenzie and Haley, and Aunt Amy came to visit! McKenzie is a sweet big sister to Haley and a great cousin to Mattie. Mckenzie decided to help uncle Matt make his lunch for work. Haley is already a caring cousin to Mattie. Mattie was crying and Haley reached over and touched Mattie's leg. It was so cute! We can't wait to watch these girls grow up together as best friends!!

The pictures below are of Mattie's homecoming. She is wearing a very special gown that was given to Mattie from her cousins Mary Louise and Emma. The outfit was given to them by Matt's grandmother who passed away before Mattie was born. Mattie's middle name, Euvine, was Matt's grandmother's middle name as well. We were very honored to be given this outfit and Mattie looked so precious in it. Mattie was welcomed home and greeted by her Papa David, Paw Paw, and Nana.
